Just a story I want to share...

When I was just a kid, I saw this chocolate commercial, (which I think the product doesn't exist at present, LOL) where a kid was mimicly playing a guitar by using a tennis racket and pretending he's a rock star. I also wonder what it feels to be able to play a guitar. Ever since then I started to learn to play guitar with the influences of bands like the beatles. and later in high school I was influenced by a lot of foreign & local bands like guns & roses, nirvana, rivermaya, eraserheads, parokya ni edgar, pantera, slayer, metallica, greenday, weezer, size 14, the youth, alamid, wolfgang, & pearl jam. Using a gasoline drum as bass drum and gallons as alternative for toms and snare, borrowed imitated les paul guitars, pro audio used in a church, we manage to form our own band as a hobby. At present, only our drummer pursued his career as a musician but as a lead singer for a very talented show band, 7th avenue( you can catch their gig at rafters, padis point calamba etc).
Eureka (or 'Heureka'; Greek εὑρηκα/ηὑρηκα) (Greek "I have found it") is an exclamation used as an interjection to celebrate a discovery. It is most famously attributed to Archimedes. Actually it doesn't have any connection to music. It's just my call sign when I was into amateur radio during my teenage years. During those times, I was even called through my call sign rather than my real name, that's why I consider it as my nick name and use it as a name for my wapsite( which became popular at the peak of celphone gprs days, I think it still exist... try this link on your celphone or a wap browser http://members.lycos.co.uk/eureka16/other1.wml)
When I graduated at Letran-Calamba batch 2005 with 2 bachelor degrees namely bsc management and bsc marketing, I dream of having my own business and name it after my nick name. So at the time I got a job as an operation officer at my wife's family business, I convinced my wife to buy me an Ibanez guitar as a gift, but just for personal hobby. and later I was able to acquire an Ibanez bass guitar and premier drum sets because of my comissions to a videographer friend, where I advertised him in a group of engaged couples at a popular local yahoo group. you can visit his site at http://www.shierdan.com/. We sampled my band equipments at the christening of my daughter, and jam til 8 pm in the evening. The next morning someone told me that our neighbor were complaining about the "pure noise" they heard last night. I was planning to sell my drumset when I think of starting my own band rehearsal studio. I borrowed money from my inlaws and open eureka studio! which offers quality equipments at a very reasonable price...
